Who Is Leading The Academy?
The Academy will be led by Brian and Julia Westhead from Revival Church, New Mills. Brian and Julia head up the worship ministry and regularly lead worship in their own church.
Brian has been involved in many different aspects of Christian music for over 30 years. He has played in prisons, shopping centres, pubs, marquees and of course the occasional church during this time. For several years he played keyboards in The Predators- a leading Christian band in the 80's.
Julia trained as a primary teacher specialising in music and is currently working towards an MA in Music Therapy. She has led worship in many different circumstances for over 20 years. She has written many worship songs, a CD-full of Christmas songs, children's songs and a fully-fledged multimedia musical!
